I met him taking his mat pilates classes at equinox 2 years ago. He’s the only instructor who makes me work so hard, want to punch him in the face while I’m doing mountain climbers, or holding yet another plank- yet somehow has me laughing the entire time. I’ve tried what feels like every boutique fitness class in all of New York City and Zach is really just a level above everything else. I started training with Zach when I felt like I had hit a personal plateau on my fitness journey.  I was exercising harder and more frequently than I had ever before but I wasn’t seeing the results I was looking for. Worst of all, I was constantly sore and frequently becoming injured as a result. Zach is the only trainer I’ve ever met who has been able to push me safely and help me achieve results I hadn’t managed in a lifetime commitment to health and fitness. Zach’s meticulous attention to form and knowledge of integrated disciplines is always challenging and leaves me feeling better after our workouts than I had when I walked in. He always knows exactly the right combination of moves and exactly the right stretch to have you both looking and feeling your best. Best of all, he makes our workouts so much fun!
